What this website collects, how we use it, and how we protect your information.

Fort Trail Wellness Group respects your privacy. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the standards of our regulatory college.
What this website collects
This website has no forms, no accounts and no advertising, and it doesn’t set cookies of its own.
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t identify you and doesn’t follow you to other websites. It records general details such as which pages were viewed, the website that sent you here, your browser and device type, and your country. This information is stored on a private server in Canada, operated by our web provider. We use it only to understand how the site is used and to improve it. It is never sold or shared for advertising.
Booking and your health information
Online booking and patient records are handled through Jane, our clinic management system, at forttrailwellnessgroup.janeapp.com. When you book, Jane collects your details on our behalf, and Jane’s own privacy policy also applies to its platform.
The information you share about your health is kept confidential. We use it only to provide your care, to bill you or your insurer (including ICBC, if you have a claim), and where the law requires it. We never sell it.
Other services this site uses
To load quickly and show some features, this site relies on a few outside services. Each may receive your IP address as part of delivering its content:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and delivers its animation library
- Google Fonts, for the site’s typefaces
- Google Maps, for the map on our contact page, which may set its own cookies
Links to Jane, Instagram, Facebook and Magnolia Health & Wellness take you to websites with their own privacy policies.
When you contact us
If you call or email us, we use your details only to reply and to help with your care. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask how it has been used. You can also withdraw your consent to how we use it, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.
